What You’ll Do
- We’re looking for folks with an interest in building products and tools, comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces. You’ll be maintaining customer-facing products that will drive direct business impact and shape our long-term technical vision with a high-quality bar .You'll have the opportunity to learn and push the frontier of providing the best software experience to help companies grow. Responsibilities
- Take a leadership role in developing and maintaining infrastructure to improve the speed of our organization
- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Monitor system performance and reliability, and implement improvements as needed
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, management, and maintenance processes with IaC and Scripts. Preferably Terraform
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with GitOps methodology using Argocd
- Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Implement internal tooling for logging, alerting, monitoring, etc. that requires minimal maintenance to maximizing developer velocity
- Propose initiatives on cloud costs management.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps stack.
- Follow best practices to ensure fast, secure, reliable and maintainable production environments.
- Deeply learn our industries served & customer base to develop a comprehensive understanding of our business
- Have a strong understanding of on-call systems.
- Own the uptime of our various products – with assistance from a top rate engineering team
- Own the security of our various cloud systems & development environments
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of overall IT/Software work experience
- Minimum of 4 years of DevOps Experience
- Expert in Google Cloud Platform(GCP) & AWS. Azure is a plus
- Good understanding of Platform Engineering, Strong familiarity with Linux systems.
- Expert in orchestrations tools Kubernetes & Docker
- Adequate Experience with Terraform, crossplane, Argo CD
- Adequate Experience with provisioning and managing SQL / Postgres / MongoDB
- Expertise in implementing and managing reusable CI pipelines with github actions.
- Experience implementing and maintaining compliance with various security standards (ISO 27000, SOC 2, etc.)
- Strong drive for security compliance.
- Desire to understand the business context for the solutions you are building
- Hold yourself and others to a high standard when working with production systems
