Job Summary

  • To operate as the media strategy, investment advisor and client service interface for BrandEye Media on all assigned clients and brands to achieve set brand and budget objectives.
  • To develop media strategies and implementation plans for clients and ensure that the plans are implemented to time and budget and that they deliver on agreed parameters and rates.
  • To work on pitch and strategy documents for presentation to Client for new business development.
  • To develop innovative ideas and strategy that would build brands for Clients and also generate revenue for the agency.
  • Coordinate or Co-Lead Client activities that could span across different functions (Media, Digital, PR and Activation).

Responsibilities

  • Understand, communicate and implement the fee (Retainership or Service Fee) structure and commercial terms for various clients and media partners in line with AISOP and agency agreed terms.
  • Employ media research, consumer data and industry resources to provide strategic advice and direction to client briefs and brand challenges
  • Ensure and oversee regularly interfacing with client via periodic meetings and generation of contact reports to ensure smooth and cordial working relationship between client and agency.
  • Organize agency weekly/ bimonthly status update meetings on ongoing activities as well as future campaigns with a drive to achieve set billings & savings target for the business.
  • Ensure delivery of innovative Ideas to Client to drive new consumer conversion, new market development and win awards & recognitions for brands and clients.
  • Co-ordinate and take ultimate responsibility for campaign media plans and ensure error-free media schedules for campaigns and liaise with client for sign-off of final approved plans.
  • Ensure Client is delighted in terms of Strategy, rates and discounts and work with the Buying unit in securing added value to delight client.
  • Work seamlessly with other agency functions to ensure seamless implementation of media plans and campaign activities.
  • Oversee the generation of monthly, quarterly and appropriate end of campaign reports which should entail campaign activities, budget compliance and recommendations for effectiveness
  • Develop and compile deep actionable consumer insights on brand, competition, usage and attitude along with the agency’s intelligence unit
  • Continuously study and compile media landscape information to help clients and agency better understand the changing communication landscape
  • Maintain a repository of brand strategies, reports, reviews, consumer understanding and insights for knowledge sharing and transfer within agency.
  • Ensure prompt collection of receivables and proper documentation of all invoices and financial transactions as per agreed contract and terms.

Key Skills and Competencies
Knowledge:

  • Strong business & business environment understanding
  • Advanced knowledge of planning tools, as well as an in-depth understanding of current media planning practices
  • Strong working knowledge of the media space (including digital media) and available media research, monitoring tools and current developments in the media industry
  • Strong business management, entrepreneurial, problem solving and decision-making skills.
