The University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, is a university in Ilorin, Nigeria. It was established by a decree of the Federal Military Government in 1975 and is a federal government owned tertiary institution of education located in Ilorin, Kwara State, western Nigeria.[1][2] The ancient city of Ilorin, capital of Kwara State, is about 300 km from Lagos and 500 km from Abuja, the country's administrative capital. Requirements
- Candidate must possess SSCE / GCE (O/L) or its equivalent with 5 credits in the relevant subjects inclusive of English Language and Mathematics plus a recognised basic Medical / Dental qualification registered with the Medical Dental Council of Nigeria (MDON).
- Candidate must possess a NYSC Certificate and be computer iterate plus at least four (4) years cognate experience.

Other Conditions:
- Appointment is normally on probation, which may be confirmed after two years of satisfactory service.
