Role Description

  • We are a leading insurance organization developing next-generation business applications for General, Life and Health Insurance.
  • As a Senior QA Engineer, you will plan, execute, and automate tests to validate the functional and technical aspects of the insurance SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain test strategies for end-to-end policy lifecycle,claims workflows, reinsurance modules, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manual & Automated Testing: Create and execute manual test cases, alongside automatedscripts (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Integration & API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs across microservices architecture (developed in.NET/Node.js) to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Defect Tracking & Collaboration: Document defects, work closely with developers, and trackissue resolution through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide insights for process improvements and testing automation optimizations in alignment with Agile sprints.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.

Experience

  • 5+ years in enterprise QA roles, preferably testing multi-tenant SaaS or large-scale cloud applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Other Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfort testing compliance features (IFRS 17, NDPR).
  • Excellent communication skills for on-site, cross-functional collaboration.
  • Attention to detail and methodical test documentation
