Job Description

  • As a Senior Social Media Manager at Lamlan Digital Solutions, you will move beyond simple posting to become a strategic architect for our high-value clients.
  • You will lead the development and execution of integrated social media strategies that align with broader business goals, driving not just "likes," but measurable conversions and brand affinity.
  • This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of creative storytelling, data-driven decision-making, and advanced technical knowledge of social advertising ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and oversee multi-platform social media strategies (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube) that integrate seamlessly with SEO and PPC efforts.
  • Performance Advertising: Manage and optimize high-budget paid social campaigns, focusing on ROAS, CPA, and lead generation.
  • Content Leadership: Guide the creative team (designers and videographers) to produce high-performing, "digital-first" content and motion graphics.
  • Community & Reputation: Oversee brand sentiment and community management across diverse industries, ensuring a consistent and professional voice.
  • Data & Analytics: Use advanced tools (Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite/Buffer) to translate complex data into actionable monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Influencer Strategy: Identify and manage strategic partnerships with Nigerian and international influencers to amplify brand reach.
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of regional trends in the Nigerian digital landscape to pivot strategies in real-time.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: B.Sc/BA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Professional certifications (Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads) are highly preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years in social media management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role within a reputable digital agency.
  • Track Record: Proven portfolio showing significant growth in followership, engagement, and most importantly -direct revenue or lead growth for past clients.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (including Pixel setup, CAPI, and retargeting).
  • Proficiency in TikTok Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Deep understanding of social media SEO and algorithm shifts.
  • The "very experienced" candidate must demonstrate a tangible history of scaling brands.

Skills:

  • Copywriting: Exceptional ability to write persuasive, brand-aligned copy for various audiences.
  • Crisis Management: Experience in handling PR "fires" or negative brand sentiment professionally.
  • Creative Eye: Strong sense of aesthetics and the ability to storyboard video content (Reels/TikToks).
  • Tools: Mastery of scheduling tools (Agorapulse, Sprout Social, or similar) and basic design/video editing proficiency (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite).Education: B.Sc/BA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Professional certifications (Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads) are highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: High-level stakeholder management, presentation skills, and the ability to lead a team under tight deadlines.
