- We are looking for a strategic and creative Senior Social Media Specialist to lead the development and execution of PalmPay’s social media strategy. The ideal candidate is innovative, data-driven, and experienced in building strong digital communities within the fintech space. This role will drive brand visibility, audience engagement, and business growth through impactful and performance-focused social media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with brand objectives and industry best practices.
- Plan and manage the social media content calendar across all platforms.
- Lead community management efforts, fostering engagement and strengthening brand loyalty.
- Provide creative direction to designers and videographers to ensure brand-aligned, high-quality content.
- Develop and oversee video content strategies for various digital platforms.
- Identify and leverage trending topics to drive brand visibility and viral engagement.
- Manage and mentor social media executives, setting KPIs and ensuring performance targets are met.
- Conceptualize and present campaign ideas in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Write, edit, and proofread engaging content for social and digital platforms.
- Develop influencer marketing briefs and oversee paid social influencer collaborations.
- Manage online reputation, ensuring timely response to negative feedback and amplification of positive brand mentions.
- Conduct competitor analysis (SWOT) to identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
- Develop thought leadership content that positions PalmPay as an industry leader.
- Ensure compliance with social media ethics, copyright regulations, data protection, and privacy policies.
- Generate detailed performance reports with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing within the fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong content creation and storytelling ability tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance.
- Working knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Basic understanding of graphic design and photo/video editing.
