Job Summary

  • The Senior Software Implementation Officer will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical implementations, data integration, reporting solutions, and system configurations for clients. The role requires strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience with reporting tools, and the ability to optimize performance across data platforms. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end implementation processes while ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency, and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Database & Reporting

  • Develop, modify, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Utilize SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSRS to design and deliver high-quality reports.
  • Create, enhance, and deploy reports using SSDT and/or Report Builder.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database queries and reporting processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of all reporting outputs.

Automation & Integration

  • Design and implement ETL workflows using SSIS or equivalent tools.
  • Automate data integration processes across multiple internal and external data sources.
  • Troubleshoot data flow, integration failures, and system inconsistencies.

Cloud & Modern Data Platforms

  • Support migration, deployment, or optimization of cloud-based databases (advantageous).
  • Work with modern analytics platforms and cloud technologies to enhance implementation efficiency.

Development

  • Apply basic knowledge of C# or Visual Basic in customizing and extending system functionalities.
  • Assist with front-end or web-related implementation tasks using basic web technology understanding.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and refine system features.

Domain Knowledge

  • Apply understanding of financial reporting concepts in solution configuration and client support (added advantage).
  • Interpret and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements & QualificationsTechnical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server and SSRS.
  • Proficiency in using SSDT and Report Builder.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS (or similar alternatives).
  • Basic understanding of C# or Visual Basic and web technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud database platforms and modern analytics tools (added advantage).

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in technical implementation, data engineering, or reporting roles.
  • Experience working in a financial technology environment is an added advantage.
