Job Description
- We're seeking a vibrant and creative Social Media & Content Officer to take our online presence to the next level.
Responsibilities
As the Social Media & Content Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow Tamak’s presence on Twitter (X) and Instagram with daily posts/tweets, engaging content, and active interaction with followers.
- Respond promptly to DMs, mentions, comments, and community conversations.
Content Creation & Planning:
- Collaborate with other team members on creative and visually appealing content (graphics, reels, tweets, etc.) aligned with brand tone.
- Schedule and manage a content calendar with weekly plans and thematic campaigns.
Digital Campaigns:
- Manage all Google Ads and Social Media Ad campaigns.
- Analyze ad performance and optimize for better visibility and lead generation.
Growth & Community Engagement:
- Grow our followers and improve audience engagement across platforms.
- Implement interactive contents (polls, challenges, giveaways, etc.)
Performance Reporting:
- Provide weekly performance reports and insights.
- Recommend and implement improvements basedonmetrics.
Requirements & Skills
- Interested candidates should possess an HND or Bachelor’s Degree with 1 - 3 years work experience.
- Excellent command of English with a strong sense of humor and wordplay
- Social media savvy with experience managing business pages
- Creativity, consistency, and the ability to think like a brand
- Must reside in Lagos and be available for in-person content work when needed.
Added Advantage:
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Capcut, PixlrPhotoshop, etc.)
- Experience with social media and Googleads and basic analytics tools
- Familiarity with logistics, delivery services, or urban youth culture.
