What you'll be doing
- Managing day-to-day activity across Africhange's social media platforms.
- Scheduling and publishing content in line with the content calendar.
- Monitoring comments, DMs, and mentions.
- Tracking performance metrics and pulling weekly reports.
- Identifying trends, sounds, and moments worth jumping on.
- Working closely with the content team to give creative direction and feedback.
- Supporting campaign rollouts with platform-specific execution.
What you should have
- Fresh graduate or 0-2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications.
- Deep familiarity with Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
- Creative and attentive enough to spot new trends and hop on them.
- Copywriting skills.
- Strong understanding of what performs on each platform and why.
- Comfortable with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Highly organized and dedicated.
- Access to a working laptop or smartphone.
- Available during core working hours and able to commit to occasional in-person shoot days.
Bonus Points:
- Experience managing a brand or personal account with a real following.
- Eye for design. Be able to give useful creative direction even if you're not the designer.
