Overview
- We seek to hire a Solutions Architect who will be responsible for creating and communicating the technical vision for specific solutions to business problems.
- They bridge the gap between the business problem and the technological solution, outlining the necessary phases and requirements to make the solution(s) work.
- The Solutions Architect's focus is on opportunities in Nigeria and the wider African region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Professional Services team throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions that meet those needs.
- Design and architect complex technical solutions, including roadmaps and recommendations.
- Develop and validate proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Review and approve solution designs from other team members.
- Perform design, debugging, and performance analysis on solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document and share best practices for new solutions to help the team learn and grow.
- Advocate for process improvements and help develop solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Regularly communicate new features and benefits of solutions to partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science (or the equivalent)
- 10+ years of experience as a solutions architect or in a similar role
- MCSE certification required
- Strong Presales skills
- Strong Technical Background
- Project Management Skills
