Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and developing both MySQL and MSSQL databases, possess strong knowledge of SQL syntax, and demonstrate a deep understanding of database administration and development principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer SQL database systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize database systems for improved efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain database solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Design and implement database structures, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Perform database backups, recovery, and restoration activities, ensuring data availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance tuning, query optimization, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand data requirements and provide effective database solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies and regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in database administration and development.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a SQL Database Administrator
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing both MySQL and MSSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL syntax, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
  • Experience in database design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and restoration procedures.
  • Understanding of data security, access control, and database encryption techniques.
  • Knowledge of database monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator & Developer.
  • Experience in managing and developing MySQL and MSSQL databases.
  • Proven track record in database design, implementation, and optimization.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in SQL syntax and advanced query optimization techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of MySQL and MSSQL database management systems.
  • Strong understanding of database administration principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Solid understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
