Job Overview
- The Systems Administrator Officer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
- The role ensures system reliability, security, and performance across servers, networks, and enterprise applications.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in system administration, networking, and IT support, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime for critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and enterprise systems
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Implement security measures, perform system updates, and patch management
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly
- Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and incidents
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
- Support IT projects, migrations, and system upgrades
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and business teams to optimize infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, Azure Administrator, CompTIA Server+) are an advantage.
Technical Competencies:
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Office 365 Support
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches
- Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) are an advantage.
