JOB DESCRIPTION AND EXPECTATION
- To ensure the company can respond effectively to a broad range of technological events impacting all aspects of our IT service continuity, Keep AXA safe, secure, and resilient by predicting, preventing, and managing a range of disruptions to IT Services and their operational dependencies and continuing IT service delivery to our customers,
- To ensure continuity of IT Services, protecting our customers, data, and brand in the face of an ever-changing risk landscape.
Academic/Professional: A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and /or Information Technology industry training / certification e.g., ITIL 4, COBIT 5, ISO 27031, 27035, 22301.
Work experience: 5+ Years relevant work experience preferably in financial services
Job Level: This position has been profiled as a minimum Analyst role owing to the defined skill level, years of experience and complexities of the task to be performed.
Grade Level: This position has been profiled as a minimum Grade Level Analyst 10 owing to the defined skill level, years of experience and complexities of the task to be performed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide training to Service Managers and other roles on how to appropriately challenge defined RTOs, RPOs and MASLs .
- Ensure completion of the review of IT service RTOs, RPOs and MASLs provided in BIA
- Obtain validation and approval of the IT service RTOs, RPOs and MASLs by ITSCM Sponsor or ITSCM Committee (when required)
- Oversee the documentation of IT Backup and Recovery strategy options, including gaps to be remediated, advantages and disadvantages for each strategy, and considerations for any additional activities needed to make the strategy viable.
- Validate the work plan needed to implement the selected IT Backup and Recovery Strategy and validate any gaps not mitigated to be accepted by the ITSCM Sponsor.
- Ensure development of ITSCM plans by the Service Manager and relevant IT teams and ensure information contained in ITSCM plans is in accordance with available ITSCM strategies.
- Ensure that the ITSCM Test plan is approved by the ITSCM Sponsor Ensures that the ITSCM plans are tested, in accordance with the strategy; document the results of each test in the post test report template.
- Ensure the approval of the Post-test reports and identified remediating actions by the accountable Executive for Operational Resilience.
- Obtain approval of the ITSCM sections of the Operational Resilience self-assessment questionnaire by the ITSCM Sponsor.
- Oversight of the execution of post incident reviews following ITSCM related live incidents to identify lessons learnt and improvements to be made (e.g., enhancement of ITSCM plans) Provide oversight for the remediation actions.
- Ensure the ITSCM Sponsor approves the post incident reviews and associated remediation plan & closure of remediating actions where appropriate.
- Review action plan to implement remediating actions identified from testing and track actions to closure
- Regular interactions with Group & AMIH Regional Security / SPOC for IT Service Continuity as require/applicable
- Ability to interact and elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including management, clients, other departments, and vendor.
