Job Summary
- The Tech/Product Lead is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and optimization of digital health products and hospital technology systems.
- This role bridges clinical needs, business goals, and technology solutions to improve patient experience, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the product vision for hospital digital solutions (e.g., patient apps, telemedicine, internal systems).
- Develop and manage the product roadmap aligned with hospital priorities.
- Identify opportunities to digitize and improve patient and staff experiences.
Technology Leadership
- Oversee implementation and optimization of hospital systems such as:
- Hospital Management System (HMS)
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
- Billing and payment platforms
- Telemedicine and patient engagement tools
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with clinicians, operations, finance, and admin teams to gather requirements.
- Translate clinical and business needs into technical/product specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors, developers, and IT teams.
Product Development & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, design, development, testing, and launch.
- Prioritize features based on impact and feasibility.
- Ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
User Experience & Adoption
- Improve usability of systems for doctors, nurses, and patients.
- Drive adoption of digital tools across the hospital.
- Collect user feedback and iterate on product improvements.
Data & Analytics
- Implement dashboards and reporting tools for operational and clinical insights.
- Leverage data to improve decision-making and performance.
- Ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure systems comply with healthcare regulations and data protection laws.
- Maintain patient data privacy and cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field
- MBA or Product Management certification is a plus
- 3–6 years in product management, health tech, or IT leadership
- Experience with healthcare systems (HMS, EMR/EHR) strongly preferred
- Proven track record of delivering digital products
