About the Role
As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in deploying and supporting internet and security infrastructure for our clients. Your work will directly impact how businesses and homes stay connected and secure.
You’ll be responsible for hands-on installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment, CCTV systems, and structured cabling. You’ll also support client issues when they arise. The work requires good technical ability, time management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You won’t be working in isolation—you’ll be supported by subcontractors and our internal team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and up to standard.
Key Responsibilities
- PTP & PTMP Radio Installations: Install and maintain Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint radio networks using Cambium, Unifi, and Mikrotik.
- CCTV Systems: Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP and analog CCTV systems (Hikvision and Dahua) across residential and commercial locations.
- Network Cabling: Lay out structured cabling for new deployments, ensuring neatness, labeling, and standards compliance.
- Site Assessments: Conduct thorough site surveys to understand technical requirements, collect data, and produce installation plans and cost estimates.
- Router and Switch Configuration: Set up and maintain routers, switches, access points, and radios (mainly Mikrotik, Unifi, Cambium).
- Network Monitoring & Maintenance: Manage the performance and stability of deployed networks; respond quickly to outages and system alerts.
- Customer Support: Provide prompt, courteous, and effective technical support both remotely and on-site.
Who We’re Looking For
We need someone who is reliable, technically sound, and able to follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- ND, HND, or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Solid experience with PTP/PTMP radio equipment, especially Cambium, Unifi, and Mikrotik.
- Experience installing and configuring CCTV systems (especially Hikvision and Dahua).
- Good grasp of structured cabling practices and network troubleshooting.
- Able to read site plans and interpret client requirements into technical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills—especially when engaging with clients onsite.
- Must be able to work on ladders, rooftops, and sometimes in hot weather.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field work.
