We are looking for a detail-oriented Website & Content Associate to manage and publish daily content on our platform. The role focuses on sourcing, writing, optimizing, and publishing high-quality posts. Speed, accuracy, originality, and SEO best practices are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and publish posts daily.
- Rewrite and adapt sourced information into original, clear, and well-structured content.
- Optimize all content for SEO (headings, keywords, internal links, images).
- Upload, format, and publish posts on WordPress with correct categories, tags, and featured images.
- Design or source copyright-free images using tools like Canva or stock platforms.
- Update existing content to reflect new deadlines, links, or status changes.
- Ensure all content is accurate, plagiarism-free, and relevant to a Nigerian/African audience.
Required Skills & Tools
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience with WordPress content publishing
- Basic understanding of SEO (RankMath or Yoast preferred)
- Familiarity with Canva, Google Docs, and Grammarly
- Ability to meet daily publishing targets and work independently
