In 2010 as part of its new strategic thrust and growth plans, a group structure was formed, comprising of three key subsidiaries Spout Advantage Solutions (Applications), Tech Solutions (IT Infrastructure) and Comms Solutions (Network and Communications). With the sole purpose of remaining focused and grow with the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely payment of bills and accurate invoicing to clients.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.

Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations that impact the company.

Financial Audits:

  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Address audit findings and implement recommendations.

Financial Systems and Software:

  • Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and generate reports.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes.

Cash Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for company operations.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.

Financial Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue-generating strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the ICT/Communication sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and tax regulations.
