Job brief
- The Assistant I.T. Support Officer provides technical support and maintenance of I.T. systems used across the real estate company, including property management software, CRM systems, and office networks.
- The role ensures that staff can efficiently use digital tools for sales, marketing, property listings, documentation, and client communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to staff across all departments (sales, leasing, facility management, etc.).
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, network devices, and mobile equipment at office and site locations.
- Assist in managing real estate applications such as property management systems, CRM software, and document management tools.
- Set up and maintain email accounts, user profiles, and access permissions for new and existing employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and maintain the company’s LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi networks, and internet connections across offices and site offices.
- Support data backup, security, and system update procedures to protect company information.
- Keep an accurate inventory of IT assets (laptops, routers, modems, etc.) and update maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs, upgrades, or software licensing.
- Assist in training employees on the proper use of company systems, cybersecurity practices, and new technologies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- ND, HND, or BSc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, preferably within a real estate or corporate environment.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, networking (LAN/WAN), and cloud-based systems.
- Familiarity with real estate technology platforms (e.g., property management systems, CRM tools, listing portals).
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and provide support to multiple office sites.
- Professional certifications (CompTIA A+, N+, or Microsoft Certified) are an advantage.
Salary
N140,000 - N160,000 monthly.
