Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute local brand strategies with a strong focus on influencer marketing. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the Nigerian consumer market, media landscape, and cultural nuances. You will be responsible for building brand presence, driving engagement, and achieving business growth through innovative marketing campaigns, particularly leveraging local influencer partnerships .

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Marketing Strategy:? Develop and implement annual/quarterly brand marketing plans and budgets aligned with company goals. Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, competitor activities, and social media trends in Nigeria .
  • Influencer Marketing:? Lead end-to-end influencer marketing campaigns. This includes identifying and vetting local influencers, negotiating contracts, planning content, and managing relationships with influencers, MCNs, and agencies to ensure brand consistency and campaign effectiveness .
  • Content Planning & Execution:? Create localized content strategies that resonate with Nigerian audiences. Oversee the production of diverse content formats (video, graphics, copy) for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Manage content calendars and ensure all branded content is properly disclosed (e.g., #ad) .
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:? Work closely with sales, e-commerce, and product teams to ensure marketing efforts drive traffic and conversions. Collaborate with PR and social media teams for integrated communications .
  • Performance Analysis:? Monitor and analyze campaign performance using key metrics (impressions, engagement, conversion, ROI). Prepare reports to evaluate effectiveness and optimize future strategies .
  • Budget Management:? Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources for maximum return .

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:? Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field .
  • Experience:? 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing or digital marketing, with at least 2 years specifically in influencer marketing, preferably within the Nigerian market. Proven track record of managing successful brand/influencer campaigns is required .
  • Local Market Knowledge:? Deep understanding of Nigerian consumer trends, cultural diversity, and social media dynamics is essential .
  • Technical Skills:? Proficiency with social media platforms, content creation tools, and data analytics software is advantageous .
  • Language:? Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of local languages (e.g., Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo) is a strong plus .
