Our business focus is to provide financial inter-mediation and advisory to individuals, small/medium retail enterprises, mid-sized corporate organizations, etc. Chanelle Microfinance Bank is building a business architecture that will drive low cost, short and long-term funds in other to effectively support individual and small businesses and SMEs across different sectors of the economy.

Job Summary

  • The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying gaps, and recommending data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Work closely with management, IT, and operations teams to implement solutions
  • Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and strategy
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet requirements
  • Monitor implemented solutions and recommend enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with documentation tools (BRD, FRD, process maps).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) is an advantage
