About the Role

  • The Communications and Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in shaping and amplifying the visibility of our new product. You will be responsible for leading brand storytelling, managing digital campaigns, creating compelling content, and building an engaged community around this initiative.
  • This role is ideal for someone who is creative, data-driven, and passionate about social impact, digital communication, and content marketing. You’ll work closely with the product team and leadership to communicate our mission, generate excitement, and build a loyal user base.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications & Storytelling

  • Craft and implement a communications plan to position and promote the new product.
  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and original content across multiple channels (social media, email, blogs, newsletters, etc.).
  • Write compelling brand stories and case studies that resonate with our target audience
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand features, user journey, and value proposition and translate that into a clear and compelling narrative.

Marketing & Digital Campaigns

  • Design and execute digital marketing campaigns that generate awareness, interest, and engagement.
  • Build and manage a content calendar for pre-launch, launch, and post-launch stages.
  • Manage paid and organic campaigns across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
  • Track key performance metrics to evaluate and optimize campaign effectiveness.

Community Engagement & Management

  • Cultivate and manage an engaged online and offline community around the new product.
  • Lead activation campaigns, virtual events, and ambassador strategies.
  • Build relationships with early adopters and community champions.

Branding & Design

  • Be visually creative and have a strong eye for branding, layout, and design aesthetics.
  • Design high-quality graphics, campaign visuals, and social content using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
  • Ensure visual and tonal consistency across all communication materials.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–3 years of proven experience in a communications or digital marketing role.
  • Strong portfolio of work including storytelling samples, graphics, or campaigns.
  • Experience with content management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized, creative, and adaptable with a keen sense for trends.
