Job description
- We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics, and a keen interest in leveraging data to drive insights and decision-making. This role is best suited for an analytical thinker who is eager to grow in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Support business teams with actionable data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Perform statistical analyses and predictive modeling to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
- Document data processes and analysis methods for transparency and reproducibility.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data insights and automation.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics (minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2)).
Experience:
- Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Analyst, Data Associate, or similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data manipulation techniques.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and tools (e.g., Python, R, or SPSS) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with data cleaning and data transformation techniques.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
