Job description

  • We are seeking an innovative and profit drivenDigital Marketer / Content Creator to join our marketing team in Portharcourt. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing and sales campaigns that promote Soso Care products and services.
  • You will also be responsible for creating high-quality content to engage and attract our target audience across multiple platforms.
  • The ideal candidate is someone who can blend creativity with analytics to create compelling, strategic, and result-driven content.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, website, paid ads, etc.) to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and graphic design, to create cohesive digital marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and customer acquisition in the insurance industry.
  • Manage and maintain the company's online presence, including website content, social media profiles, and online directories.
  • Develop and manage digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads,LinkedIn Ads and more to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback on digital platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve website usability, conversion rates, and user experience.
  • Prepare regular reports on digital marketing performance, including key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze and interpret data from marketing tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Manage and optimize SEO/SEM efforts to improve online visibility and ranking.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, and more to drive traffic and conversions.

Content Creation:

  • Develop, write, and design engaging, high-quality content (blog posts, social media posts, infographics, videos, etc.) to promote our brand and services.
  • Create and execute a content calendar to ensure consistency and timely delivery of content.
  • Research industry-related topics, generate new ideas, and identify trends for engaging content that resonates with our audience.
  • Design and produce visual content using graphic design tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) to complement written content.
  • Create and edit videos for social media and website content, leveraging video editing tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other software.
  • Optimize content for SEO by implementing relevant keywords and best practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Marketer or similar role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite,Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and email marketing software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content style to different audiences and platforms.
  • Graphic design skills and experience with design software (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Video production and editing skills using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and driving actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
