Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of category plans aligned with sales and growth targets.
- Manage assigned product categories, including SKU prioritization and crop focus strategies.
- Track product and category performance, recommending corrective actions where required.
- Support product lifecycle activities including new product launches and portfolio optimization.
- Coordinate go-to-market initiatives such as product positioning, pricing support, and promotional execution.
- Work closely with Sales teams to ensure product availability and effective distribution across territories.
- Support trade promotions, farmer activations, field demonstrations, and seasonal campaigns.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis on pricing, formulations, pack sizes, and promotional activities.
- Gather and analyze market data to support pricing decisions and portfolio optimization.
- Prepare weekly and monthly category performance reports and support management reviews.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Marketing, or related field (minimum of Second Class Upper).
- 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, category management, sales operations, or commercial roles.
- Experience in agrochemicals or FMCG is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Commercial and market-oriented mindset with good understanding of crop cycles and farming systems.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
