Description
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Communications Officer to support internal and external communication activities, manage digital platforms, and assist in maintaining the company’s brand image.
- The ideal candidate will also represent the company at events and support on-site engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and attending corporate events, conferences, and company engagements.
- Represent the company at events and provide on-site communication support when required.
- Monitor media coverage and support efforts to maintain a positive public image.
- Manage and update the company’s LinkedIn page and website content regularly.
- Design basic graphics and marketing materials using Canva.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Must have completed NYSC (Discharge Certificate required).
- 0 – 2 years relevant experience.
- Willingness to attend events when required.
- Basic knowledge of social media management (especially LinkedIn).
- Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
