Description

  • We are looking for a versatile Designer to lead the visual and experiential direction of our products.
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from creating the brand identity and marketing assets to architecting seamless user journeys for our mobile applications and digital interfaces for physical engineering equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • UX Research & Strategy: Conduct user interviews with engineers and end-users to understand pain points. Create personas, user journey maps, and wireframes to solve complex workflow problems.
  • UI Design: Design high-fidelity, pixel-perfect interfaces for iOS and Android apps. Ensure the digital experience remains consistent with the physical ergonomics of our engineering tools.
  • Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes (using Figma or Adobe XD) to test logic and usability before handing designs off to the engineering team.
  • Graphic Design & Branding: Create high-quality visual assets for marketing, including social media graphics, pitch decks, technical illustration for manuals, and product packaging.
  • Design-to-Development Handoff: Work closely with software and hardware engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented accurately.
  • Design System Management: Maintain and expand our internal design library (icons, components, typography) to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

Soft Skills & Experience

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally within a tech startup.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to simplify "heavy" technical features into "light" user experiences.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment where requirements may shift based on engineering breakthroughs.

Skills:

  • Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Figma (primary), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and prototyping tools like Protopie or Framer.
  • Visual Communication: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, and layout, with the ability to turn complex engineering data into clean, readable infographics.
