Job Description

The Head of Manager ICT department will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the consulting department. He/she collaborates will closely with clients, executives, and other stakeholders to deliver effective IT solutions and drive business growth.

This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the department's strategic plan, aligning it with the overall business objectives of our firm. Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and client needs to drive the growth of the consulting department.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Understand their business goals, challenges, and IT requirements. Provide guidance, propose innovative solutions, and oversee the delivery of consulting services to meet client expectations.
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of IT consultants, ensuring their professional development, performance management, and overall engagement. Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the department. Assign resources effectively to projects, balancing workload and skill sets.
  • Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of consulting projects from initiation to completion. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop project plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, and ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and IT trends. Leverage technical knowledge to provide thought leadership, guide solution design, and address complex client requirements.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the consulting department's client base and revenue. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals, deliver presentations, and participate in client negotiations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and consistency of consulting services by implementing best practices, methodologies, and quality assurance processes. Conduct regular performance reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the department's budget, monitor financial performance, and optimize resource allocation. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure profitability while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in IT consulting, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing consulting projects, teams, and client relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and align IT solutions with clients' strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, executives, and team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and motivating a diverse team.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Deep understanding of various IT domains, such as infrastructure, applications, security, cloud computing, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and data privacy standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving targets, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are highly desirable.
