Our client is a pharmaceutical company focused on enhancing health and well-being in Nigeria through evidence-based, functional food and supplement products with a manufacturing factory in Sagamu, Ogun State.As a result of growth, the position of an IT OFFICER has become vacant.
Job summary?
Monitor and maintain the company’s computer systems, install and configure hardware and software, and solves technical problems experienced by users in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day user-support on computer appliances and peripherals such as laptops, desktop computers, tablets, printers, internet, etc.
- Oversee systems networking and management of servers
- Ensure user anti-virus on all systems are up-to-date
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of all IS equipment and compliance with maintenance schedules and data integrity
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults; replace parts as required
- Conduct routine backup and restore user data arising from equipment failure.
- Monitor users of IT services to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- General IT equipment maintenance.
- Any other duties of similar responsibilities assigned by line manager
Skills/experience required
- A good first degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience in network administration and management
- Must be smart, and work without supervision
- At least 2 years’ experience as IT Officer in a factory
