- To lead the strategic design, implementation, and management of enterprise applications and database systems that support business operations and innovation. The role ensures alignment between technology solutions and business goals, promotes best practices in software development and data management, and drives the performance of cross-functional technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications and databases
- Align technology solutions with business objectives
- Oversee software development, application lifecycle management, and systems integration
- Ensure data governance, high availability, and regulatory compliance
- Manage a cross-functional team of developers, DBAs, and solution architects
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess business needs and translate them into technological solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in application and database management
- Strong expertise in database administration (MSSQL, Oracle, etc.) and enterprise software
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Experience with pensions or financial services is a strong advantage
- Relevant certifications for this role will be considered.
