The ICT Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure within the asset. The role holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of ICT strategy, implementation, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations and maximize efficiency within the asset.

Professional Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g, Master's) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in related role.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in ICT systems and tools, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and geographic information systems (GIS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage timelines effectively.
  • Thorough understanding of ICT governance frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to the upstream oil and gas sector, such as API, ISO, and NIST.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technology trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of strategies around the selection and implementation of end user computing devices like laptops, desktops, workstations and mobile devices.
  • Development and implementation of strategies around security of company data on end user computing devices and servers.
  • Management of the Users, Application and software tech support teams.
  • Development and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with both internal and external service providers. Develop cost estimates and provide recommendations for systems development and upgrades to existing software and application systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, advice and consultancy for assigned technology and infrastructure systems
  • Comply with Quality Management System/Occupational Health & Safety requirements including objectives and applicable regulations relating to assigned jobs.
  • Lead and manage ICT projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management, to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Evaluate emerging ICT technologies and trends relevant to the upstream oil and gas industry, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain ICT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
