HANL came about in some very interesting circumstances. Though registered in 1988, the name was chosen without rhyme or reason other than to point the direction which we intended to go. In 1990 we needed to buy Tirfor manual winches, one of the components of the cleaning cradle for our filial company Façade Technology Nigeria Limited which was then engaged in High Rise Façade Maintenance in a pioneering status in Nigeria and Messrs Nigeria Ropes Plc. from whom we bought our first consignments did not have any in stock and was not thinking of buying a new consignment as these winches were not fast moving, and our further inquiries led us to the Manufacturers TRACTEL S.A. France and who we later discovered had two lines of business; Material Handling Equipment and Heights Access Equipment. We got our winch consignment alright and became involved in their importation. We also decided to take advantage of the coincidence in name and become more involved. That is how we became engaged in the studies of this Building function system.

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to oversee the company’s digital marketing and branding activities while providing support for related IT functions. The contractor will play a critical role in enhancing our brand visibility, driving online engagement, and ensuring smooth digital operations that align with our business growth objectives.
  • This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the construction equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Branding:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across social media, email, and web platforms.
  • Manage online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads) to drive lead generation.
  • Create and maintain engaging content (graphics, videos, blog posts) consistent with brand identity.
  • Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics; prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.
  • Strengthen brand positioning through consistent messaging and creative campaigns.

IT & Technical Support:

  • Manage and update company website, ensuring functionality, security, and SEO optimization.
  • Provide technical support for digital tools, platforms, and marketing software.
  • Assist with IT-related tasks such as email systems, cloud storage, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or IT specialists when advanced support is required.

Expected Outcomes

  • Increased brand visibility and digital presence.
  • Consistent and professional branding across all channels.
  • Improved lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Reliable IT support for digital marketing infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, branding, and IT support.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media management, and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Basic IT skills: troubleshooting, website management, cloud tools, and data security awareness.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results within agreed timelines.

Contract Terms

  • Engagement: Independent Contractor (not an employee).
  • Duration: 1 year, renewable
  • Compensation: monthly retainer
  • Deliverables: Defined by agreed marketing KPIs and IT support requirements.
