Job Summary
- The IT Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all information technology systems and infrastructure within the agribusiness company.
- This includes supporting farm management software, ensuring data security, maintaining computer systems, and providing technical support to staff.
- The role is critical in leveraging technology to improve efficiency in both office and farm operations.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Network Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Manage internet connectivity, LAN/WAN networks, routers, and modems across farm and office sites.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Software & Data Management:
- Implement and support agribusiness software systems (e.g., farm management platforms, inventory software, accounting systems).
- Maintain databases and ensure regular backup of critical farm and business data.
