Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Officer to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure efficient operation of computer systems, networks, and provide technical support to staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor computer systems, servers, and networks
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and update IT equipment and applications
- Ensure data security, backups, and system integrity
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with IT-related projects and system upgrades
- Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures
- Setting up of software and hardware for meetings
Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience post NYSC
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Familiarity with operating systems, office applications, and security practices.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to be disciplined and professional while at work
