Job Summary
- We are seeking an Intermediate Flutter Mobile Developer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.
- This is a Hybrid role (2 days per week onsite) where you will help build and maintain high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications.
- The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, a good understanding of mobile app deployment processes, and the ability to deliver for both iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs / HTTP requests efficiently.
- Manage app deployment to Google Play Store, and Apple App Store.
- Integrate and manage Firebase services (push notifications, analytics, crashlytics, authentication, etc.).
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and smooth user experience*.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless mobile solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across multiple devices and operating systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Proven experience deploying apps to Google Play and Apple App Store (knowledge of app signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, etc.).
- Solid understanding of state management techniques (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, GetX).
- Strong grasp of HTTP requests, APIs, and JSON parsing.
- Hands-on experience with Firebase (Push Notifications, Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics).
- Familiarity with version control (Git).
- Understanding of responsive UI design and ability to adapt layouts across devices.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of native iOS/Android development (Swift, Kotlin, Java).
- Experience with in-app purchases or payment gateway integrations.
- Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO).
