About the job
- Manage and monitor the daily operations of critical IT systems (BSS, CRM, RA, Billing, KYC Applications, Dataplatform etc.) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Oversee routine system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to prevent downtime and disruptions.
- Monitor system performance metrics and generate reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Budgeting & Cost Optimization
- Develop, manage, and optimize the IT operations budget by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities such as vendor consolidation, automation, and efficient resource allocation.
- Ensure cost-effective support for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement in IT processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on latest IT trends and technologies to recommend innovations supporting business growth.
- Support digital transformation by identifying and implementing technology solutions to enhance business processes while ensuring compliance with IT standards and security policies.
Security & Compliance Management
- Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard IT assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to promptly address risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards through documentation and audits.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to mitigate regulatory risks and uphold relevant laws.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure SLA compliance and alignment with business needs.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and IT services to maximize value.
- Coordinate vendor-led upgrades, patches, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational issues.
- Support new system implementations or enhancements to ensure smooth operations.
