IT/Network Support Officer at CapitalSage Technology Limited

  • A skilled and proactive IT/Network Support Officer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the reliability and security of our network and systems. This role requires a problem-solver who can work independently while supporting end-users and maintaining critical IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience spanning the following fields:

Hardware & Technical Support

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware issues for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and peripherals
  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Manage inventory of IT assets and coordinate warranty repairs/replacements
  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end-users

Network Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, access points)
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network reliability
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols and access controls
  • Manage VPN configurations and remote access solutions

System Administration

  • Administer Windows/Linux server environments and Active Directory
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies
  • Oversee software deployment, patching, and license management
  • Maintain backup systems and disaster recovery procedures

General IT Operations

  • Document IT procedures, network diagrams, and system configurations
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure support
  • Assist in IT project implementations and technology upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration
  •  Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations
  •  Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent)
  •  Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Exchange administration
  •  Hardware troubleshooting and repair capabilities

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+; Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA); Cisco CCNA; or equivalent industry certifications

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Commitment to security best practices and compliance standards
  • Continuous learning mindset to keep pace with Microsoft ecosystem updates
