IT Solution Architect at LEKOIL

Job Purpose/Key Objectives:

  • The IT Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The job holder will oversee the optimisation of cloud infrastructure, workflow automation, and business process digitisation.
  • They will also provide IT support and systems administration that enhance operational efficiency, streamline business processes, and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Principal Accountabilities:

Digital Process Optimization & Power Platform Development

  • Develop and maintain Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and related automation tools to digitize manual processes and eliminate recurring inefficiencies.
  • Build end-to-end business applications that integrate cloud data, Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint lists/libraries, and on-premises data sources.
  • Conduct process analysis with departments to identify automation opportunities and propose practical digital solutions.
  • Ensure Power Platform solutions comply with IT governance, security standards, and data privacy requirements.

Cloud Infrastructure Management (Azure & AWS)

  • Administer and optimize cloud environments—including compute, storage, identity, and security layers—to ensure high availability and cost-effective performance.
  • Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cloud services, backup systems, identity management, and access control.
  • Implement cloud resource governance, tagging, usage monitoring, and cost-optimization practices.
  • Support cloud migration projects and integration with M365 services.

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
  • Implement policies that ensure data security, compliance, retention, and seamless user adoption.
  • Troubleshoot M365 service issues and coordinate escalations with Microsoft where required.

IT Support & Systems Administration

  • Maintain optimal IT system performance across networks, hardware, software, and infrastructure systems.
  • Use analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve user issues efficiently.
  • Provide second-level support for escalated IT service requests.
  • Maintain inventory documentation for IT equipment, licenses, and user access.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with external vendors for support, licensing, and system enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance to departments implementing new digital tools or system upgrades.

Financial & Budgetary Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of relevant vendors, external service providers, and technical partners.
  • Perform all other duties that are necessary and reasonably attached to this I.T Business Analyst position and the fulfilment of its responsibilities.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head, IT.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or AWS are mandatory.
  • Professional certification in other IT fields (i.e. CCNA, CompTIA Security+, etc.) will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience supporting technical teams in Oil & Gas organizations is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform development, including building and deploying Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
  • 3+ years experience managing or supporting cloud environments on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, including resource provisioning, monitoring, security configuration, and cost optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating digital workflows across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and on-premises data sources.
  • Strong background in IT support or systems administration (minimum 3 years), with proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware, software, network, and cloud systems.
  • Previous involvement in business process automation, digital transformation initiatives, or workflow redesign projects is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to the Oil & Gas industry is an added advantage but not mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge in cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate.
  • Cloud infrastructure: deployment, optimization, and monitoring of resources across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Automation and integration: building solutions that connect M365, cloud storage, and on-premise data securely.
