Job Summary
- We are looking for an IT Support Officer to provide technical assistance to employees, resolves hardware and software issues, and maintains the company's IT infrastructure.
- Key duties include installing and configuring systems, troubleshooting problems, managing support tickets, and performing routine maintenance on computers and networks.

Key Responsibilities
- User support: Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person to resolve computer and software issues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and solve hardware and software faults to keep systems running smoothly.
- Installation and configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and applications for new and existing users.
- Ticket and incident management: Log and manage all service requests and support tickets, updating users on their progress.
- System maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on computer systems and networks, including updates, backups, and security checks.
- Inventory management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Onboarding: Set up new employees with the necessary accounts and equipment.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and solutions.

Qualifications and skills
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred.
