Job Summary

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Support Officer to provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing IT equipment, managing user connectivity, supporting ERP and biometric systems, and ensuring accurate documentation of technical records.

Job Details
IT Equipment Setup & Installation

  •  Set up and configure workstations, including installation of computer hardware, operating systems, necessary software, and peripheral devices.
  •  Ensure proper installation and cabling of telecommunication systems for effective communication.
  •  Assign network IP addresses and ensure stable connectivity for users.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  •  Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on hardware, software, and peripheral devices in accordance with installation and design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer systems, phone connections, and network connectivity.
  • Conduct repairs or coordinate replacement of faulty network and phone port connections.

ERP and Biometric System Support

  • Operate and provide first-level support for the organization's ERP application.
  • Enroll new employees into the biometric attendance system and ensure accurate operation.

Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate records including filing of invoices, toner bin card updates, and inventory tracking of toner cartridges.
  • Ensure all technical information is properly documented and stored in written or electronic formats.

Requirements

Education: 

  • HND, B.Sc, and PGD in Computer Science.
  • Other relevant IT Certifications will be an added advantage

Experience: 

  • Years of experience:- Minimum of 4 to 5 years 

Desirable Qualities & Skills:

  • Proven experience in IT support, systems installation, or technical troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, IP configuration, and telecommunication systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and biometric devices is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration.
