Description
- We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Support Officer with strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.
- The ideal candidate must be technically sound, proactive, and capable of supporting business applications including collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and other productivity software.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and repair hardware faults and replace defective components.
- Install and troubleshoot operating systems and business applications.
- Provide support for tools such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office applications.
- Resolve user technical issues promptly (onsite and remote support).
- Assist with Wi-Fi setup and basic network troubleshooting.
- Maintain IT inventory and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure antivirus systems and data backups are properly managed.
Requirements
- OND / HND / BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Good working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools.
- Basic knowledge of networking and internet configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
