- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely technical support via phone, email, or in person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Support the setup and maintenance of user accounts, access rights, and system security.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide support for online platforms, email systems, and productivity tools.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff or external vendors when necessary.
- Assist in data backup and recovery procedures.
- Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with IT policies.
- Participate in IT projects and system upgrades as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role.
- Good knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and MIS applications.
- Basic understanding of networking, internet protocols, and cybersecurity practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or Cisco CCNA.
- Experience with school management systems or educational software
