Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support, Web Development & Operations Intern to join our IT team. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates seeking to build practical experience in web development while supporting basic IT operations. The successful candidate will primarily assist with website development, maintenance and updates, while also providing basic technical support to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations within the organization.

This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on live websites, digital platforms and internal IT systems under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of company websites and web applications.
  • Support website content updates, layout adjustments and feature enhancements.
  • Write and maintain basic front-end code using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Assist with troubleshooting website issues, fixing bugs and improving user experience.
  • Test websites across different browsers and devices to ensure responsiveness and functionality.
  • Monitor website performance and assist with basic SEO and optimization tasks.
  • Support internal digital projects, system integrations and website improvements.
  • Provide basic IT support to staff by troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with installation and setup of computers, printers and office IT equipment.
  • Help manage user accounts, email configuration, and password resets.
  • Document technical issues, website updates and maintain basic IT support logs.
  • Support IT team during system upgrades, deployments and technology initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 0–1 year experience (NYSC members or recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems (CMS) is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and networking.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub and Vercel is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Good communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
