Microsoft 365 Administrator at CapitalSage Technology Limited

  • An experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our organization's Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across the Microsoft 365 stack, with proven hands-on experience in administration, security, governance, and endpoint management. This role also requires solid foundational knowledge in general IT support and networking to ensure seamless integration and troubleshooting across our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Administration & Management

  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, including user lifecycle management, license allocation, and service configuration
  • Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams environments
  • Configure and maintain hybrid identity scenarios and cloud-only environments
  • Monitor service health, performance, and usage analytics across M365 services
  • Plan and execute migrations, upgrades, and service deployments

Security & Governance

  • Implement and manage Microsoft 365 Security features including Defender for Office 365, Safe Links, Safe Attachments, and anti-phishing policies
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview (formerly Microsoft 365 Compliance Center) for data governance, retention policies, eDiscovery, and legal holds
  • Manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and sensitivity labels
  • Conduct security audits, threat assessments, and compliance reporting
  • Respond to security incidents and implement remediation actions

Identity & Access Management

  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) including user provisioning, conditional access policies, and MFA implementation
  • Manage application registrations, enterprise applications, and SSO configurations
  • Implement and maintain Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Configure and troubleshoot hybrid identity with Azure AD Connect
  • Manage device identity and compliance policies

Endpoint Management

  • Administer Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM)
  • Deploy and manage device configuration profiles, compliance policies, and app protection policies
  • Manage Windows Autopilot deployments and endpoint security configurations
  • Troubleshoot enrollment issues and device compliance failures
  • Oversee patch management and software deployment through Intune

IT Support & Networking

  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for M365-related issues and escalations
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues affecting M365 services (DNS, proxy, firewall configurations)
  • Collaborate with network teams to optimize connectivity to Microsoft services (ExpressRoute, VPN split-tunneling)
  • Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration
  • Document technical procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Security & Compliance centers
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Intune endpoint management
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and proxy configurations
  • Background in general IT support and systems administration

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft 365 Core Services: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform administration
  • Security & Compliance: Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Purview compliance tools, DLP, retention policies, eDiscovery
  • Identity Management: Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, conditional access, MFA, SSO, PIM
  • Endpoint Management: Intune, Windows Autopilot, configuration profiles, compliance policies, app deployment
  • PowerShell: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for M365 automation and administration
  • Networking: Understanding of network protocols, troubleshooting connectivity issues, hybrid network architecture

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
