???????The Role:
- As a Network Administrator, you will support and maintain highly complex enterprise network systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Reporting to the Head, Network & Infrastructure, you will troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and implement solutions to meet business objectives while safeguarding IT assets from threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade enterprise network systems to ensure maximum uptime.
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for vulnerabilities.
- Ensure robust network security and connectivity to protect enterprise IT assets and data.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, including routing, datacenter network design, packet loss, latency, and equipment failures.
- Recommend innovative solutions, products, and technologies to enhance network performance.
- Administer and support third-party applications and systems.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field (2.2/Upper Credit minimum).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in network administration, configuration, and security.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise network systems, routing, and datacenter network design.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues (e.g., packet loss, latency, system connectivity).
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in network performance monitoring.
