  • We are looking for an network Administrator to join our team.

The main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Perform network design and capacity planning.
  • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
  • Install and maintain network servers and network operating systems.
  • Provide second level technical support to users concerning network system operations.
  • Diagnose problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.
  • Develop functional data recovery systems and techniques.
  • Schedule and monitor backup of network data. Periodically restore files, applications, and the entire system on other network hardware to test backup facilities.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment such as hubs, switches, and UPS.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IPS/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Antimalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection.
  • In conjunction with InfoSec, establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards regarding LAN, WAN, security, and use of the organization's computer and information assets.

Experience

  • Minimum of five years’ experience working as a Networking engineer
  • Associates degree in computer science, or related field (B.S. preferred).
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Azure support experience.
  • 2+ years of Cisco/Meraki experience.
  • Operational knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and application virtualization; Network and routing protocols; Windows Server and Azure Active Directory; Switch configuration and programming.
  • Intermediate PowerShell experience.
  • Ability to independently install software and hardware on networking equipment and microcomputers.
  • Familiarity with a variety of networking and personal computer software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on servers, computers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Ability to communicate information to end users, colleagues, and senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
