Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Progress 4GL, OpenEdge, and ABL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, and enhance application features.
- Optimize applications for high performance, speed, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct code reviews, implement best practices, and perform testing.
- Prepare technical documentation and deliver user training when required.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using OpenEdge reporting tools.
- Perform ETL operations to extract, transform, and load data from OpenEdge databases for reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Progress application development.
- Proficient in Progress 4GL, OpenEdge, and ABL.
- Strong experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
