Regional Team Lead - Technical Services Delivery at IpNX Nigeria Limited

ipNX Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of infrastructure-based Telecommunications and Information Technology services here in Nigeria. Leveraging more than a decade of experience, the company was formed by the divestment of the telecommunications services division of Telnet Nigeria Limited and has been in operation for many years. ipNX currently provides a range of communications and IT services to Corporate organizations within Nigeria on its IP (Internet Protocol) based communications network using both radio and satellite communications technologies. As part of its growth strategy, ipNX seeks to also extend its services to small and medium sized businesses and residential customers. In the long term, ipNX has determined that it needs also to have a strategic presence in the wire line market to ensure that we will be able to provide future services, which require high bandwidth in the last mile.

  • We’re looking for an experienced Regional Team Lead to manage and coordinate technical service delivery operations across assigned regions, ensuring reliable connectivity, high service quality, and excellent customer experience for enterprise and residential customers.
  • This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with strong people management skills and deep experience in ISP / Telecom service delivery environments.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise regional service delivery teams and contractors
  • Ensure timely installations, upgrades, and fault resolution
  • Monitor and improve SLAs, MTTR, downtime, and service quality metrics
  • Serve as escalation point for complex customer service issues
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Enforce SOPs, documentation, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with NOC, field engineering, sales, and logistics teams

Must Have Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field with a minimum 2.1 or upper credit. 
  • 5–8 years’ experience in service delivery, network operations, or field engineering
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong knowledge of IP networks, fiber, and wireless technologies
  • Experience with SLAs, ITIL-based service delivery, and ticketing systems
  • Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, or PMP are an advantage
