V.S.L Concepts is a dynamic business branding agency based in Nigeria run by top Creative Designer – Richard Esemuru. We found out that in a market full of competition, there is a need for a business to stand out from all others, thereby giving it a higher share of the market.
We are looking for a skilled and creative video editor to help me edit YouTube videos consistently. The goal is to create high-quality, engaging, and professional videos that match the channel’s brand style.
If you are good with storytelling, smooth transitions, captions, color grading, and YouTube-style pacing, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube long-form videos (5–18 minutes)
- Edit YouTube Shorts
- Add captions, B-roll, zooms, sound effects, and transitions
- Improve pacing, storyline, and viewer retention
- Color correction and audio enhancement
- Follow instructions and maintain a consistent editing style
- Deliver projects on time
Requirements
- Proven experience editing YouTube-style videos
- Ability to produce clean, modern, and engaging edits
- Good understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, and storytelling
- Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Davinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to take feedback and improve
- Reliable internet and good communication skills
Bonus Skills (Not required, but a plus)
- Motion graphics
- Thumbnail design
- Color grading expertise
- Basic YouTube SEO knowledge
- Experience working with content creators
Compensation (Salary Range)
This role includes:
- 8 long-form YouTube videos per month
- 8 YouTube Shorts per month
Monthly Salary Range:
- ?150,000 – ?200,000 per month (final amount depends on skill level and performance during the test edit)
- This is a long-term role with consistent work and growth opportunities.
