Job Summary

  • We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Senior Business Analyst to drive impactful software solutions across diverse client projects. You will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating ideas and needs into actionable requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong leadership in requirements gathering, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and business development strategy within a fast-paced IT consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to client solutioning through idea generation, conceptualization, and proposal development.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities including needs analysis, solution scoping, technical documentation, resource estimation, budgeting, and risk assessment.
  • Elicit, define, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate client needs into clear, structured deliverables such as user stories, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and client impact.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Leads to define scope, deliverables, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and product demos.
  • Track progress on requirements delivery, ensure timely communication of blockers, and coordinate resolution paths.
  • Trive product vision through iterative planning and delivery, ensuring alignment between sprint goals and client expectations.
  • Manage and maintain product backlogs, ensuring requirements are well-defined, current, and prioritized appropriately.
  • Collaborate in release planning to define features, set go-live milestones, and oversee release readiness.
  • Work closely with QA and development teams to define test scenarios, validate solutions, and ensure that deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate UAT with clients, and ensure that feedback is well-documented and integrated into iterations.
  • Serve as the key liaison between client stakeholders, technical teams, and internal consultants.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication across teams to ensure clarity, shared understanding, and effective delivery.
  • Manage and align expectations, helping stakeholders navigate change and value realization.
  • Promote Agile best practices and support the definition and refinement of internal BA methodologies.
  • Mentor junior analysts, contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, delivery standards, and ethical conduct.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 4–6 years’ experience in business analysis within IT consulting or custom software development environments.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level or cross-functional projects from concept to release.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Figma, Trello, or MS Project.
  • Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)- CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO or CSM
