About the Role
- We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Website Manager to manage and maintain an existing Shopify store on a monthly retainer basis.
- This role is not for building new Shopify websites from scratch. It is strictly for someone who understands how Shopify works behind the scenes and can keep a live store stable, optimized, and running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Ongoing management and maintenance of an existing Shopify store
- Making front-end updates using Liquid, HTML, and CSS
- Troubleshooting Shopify theme and layout issues
- Managing and updating apps, settings, and integrations
- Ensuring site stability, performance, and basic security best practices
- Implementing design or layout changes when required
- Coordinating with the business owner or agency on updates and fixes
Requirements
- Proven experience managing live Shopify websites
- Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid
- Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience working with Shopify themes and theme customization
- Familiarity with Shopify apps and third-party integrations
- Able to work independently and deliver updates reliably
Nice to Have
- Experience working with multiple Shopify stores
- Familiarity with Shopify performance optimization
- Experience working on retainer or ongoing support contracts
- Basic understanding of e-commerce best practices
